Hi all,
Getting ready to plumb my garage for air, using 1/2 copper pipe, and plan to use a hydraulic hose to connect the compressor to the pipe.
I am trying to find a 1/2" swivel fitting, to put at one end of the hose, but can locate one. Can someone give me a link? I tried searching and I find flare adapters, but no pipe adapters.
Thanks for your help.

You will, find what you need at the Parker Store. All kinds of hoses, air and hydraulic fittings. Live swivel fittings too.

Use a lead in hose (I have goodyear and tekton ones)...they're flexible enough that you can put a few twists in the opposite direction in them before threading them in so you don't need a swivel.

At the Parker Store (or other place that makes hydraulic hoses) I would have the hose built with a JIC (joint industry council) female swivel. The numerical sizes are in 1/8" increments, thus a #4 JIC female swivel is a 1/2" fitting.

Next you will need JIC male to NPT male hex adapters, these are also very common in straight sizes. There are a couple of materials, zinc plated steel is lowest cost plus extremely durable. There are also similar fittings with 45 degree bends within them and 90 degree bends as well.

The hose end makes up to the adapter fitting with no tape or any sealant.

Very easy to assemble with zero need to rotate the hose body.
