1 3/16 wrench

1 3/16" wrenches. Do they exist? I have multiple sets of wrenches but no 1 3/16". They go from 1 1/8" straight to 1 1/4". I do have some 1 3/16" sockets but can't ever remember using them. Any of you have a wrench and have you ever used it?

comb wrench, angle head, and 1/2" dr impact socket

The socket is easy to find and the wrench can be hard to find.Craftsman has no 1 3/16 wrenches,has the sockets in shallow.I have one 1 3/16 wrench,a sk combo wrench.1 3/16 is used on older transfer cases for the fill and drain plugs.

30 mm is more common, its close enough you can substitute it.

i have both 1 and 3/16 and 30 mm wrenches. and use them.

The socket is easy to find and the wrench can be hard to find.Craftsman has no 1 3/16 wrenches,has the sockets in shallow.I have one 1 3/16 wrench,a sk combo wrench.1 3/16 is used on older transfer cases for the fill and drain plugs.

so there is no raised panel 1-3/16"?

I don't think it exists. I have every RP size I could find for sale in my collection, and I don't have a 1-3/16.

1 3/16" is often skipped by sets, however most compaines do make them. Craftsman to my knowledge never did. 30mm is pretty much enterchangable. I never gave 1 3/16" much thought until I started at Deere. For the last 40 years, John Deeres have been held together with 1 3/16" head bolts.

1-3/16" converted to metric is 30.1625mm. If you can fit a 30mm wrench or socket onto the fastener, you're golden.

I haven't ran across having to use 1 3/16" on a Deere. 1 5/16" on the blade pivot for 750C Series II Dozers.

Trying to use an SAE wrench on a metric fastener? Like the sprocket segments on the 750C? Those are 30mm bolts.

They have RP in 1-3/16, 1-3/8, 1-7/16 and 1-1/2 in open end but not combo

there seemed to be a lot of bolts on (mid-late 90's) hitachi built excavators that were 1 3/16

i even have 1/2" dr impact wobbles 1 3/16 & 1 5/16.

That set dosnt include 1-3/16". Craftsman only makes that size i to open end. Same with 1-3/8", 1-7/16" and 1-1/2"

I don't think it exists. I have every RP size I could find for sale in my collection, and I don't have a 1-3/16.

The RP is listed in the 73 catalog, but as mentioned probably not in any sets.

I have one in Proto.

I used a socket that size on a motor mount bolt in a 1995 Kenworth T300. May have been metric. I can't recall but the 1 3/16" worked. Impact gun with a socket on 1 side and breaker bar with a socket on the other.

I needed one the other day to tighten a barrel nut on an AR15. I didn't want to buy one, and the jaws of my adjustable wrench were too wide, so I ended up buying a Knipex plier wrench to do the job. I'm glad I spent the money on the Knipex as they are awesome, and not on a wrench that I would likely never use again.

Cleaver Brooks, boiler feed water storage tanks used this size on the door clamp nuts. In the boiler room, we used all different sizes of wrenches.1 3/16, 1 1/4, 1 5/16, 1 3/8, and on and on. When we couldn't find a size we needed we would just go look for a cheap Chinese set that had what we needed. We knew they would outlast us ,with the infrequent use they would get. They performed adequately. Ken.

I guess i wasn't too clear. I have a ASD Proto combo, but i have never come across a pre ASD Proto Professional combo wrench. Is that the one you have?
