I think I need to add one to my collection. Who makes a good one? The Snappy kid came by today with a Blue Point one for $216.

Does IR make one? Might be cheaper than the BP one?

The IR one is very long, defeats most of the benefit of even having a 1/4" pneumatic impact.

I have a Matco one, I don't remember what I paid for it, but I like it. It's great for oil and trans pan bolts (I don't use my cordless for this as there's a chance of the tool getting drenched in oil or trans fluid).

You could go with an pneumatic air drill, it will give you power all day long as long as your compressor is working. I see little need for 1/4 drive pneumatic impact wrench. Going cordless for 1/4 impact makes for more portability and versatility.

Thanks for mentioning that. It needs to be short and the ones that look like a drill are too long for what I need it to do.

yeah, i don't care for the ones the size of an air drill either. my 3/8 is smaller than those. the cp is a tiny little thing.

lol what

I'm pretty happy with my Blue Point 1/4" but I don't use it all that often, so take that for whatever it's worth.

I hate working for a nickledick! Is he one of those that only wants to give you ten grease rags a week?
