Looking for a set of 1/4” drive locking Impact extensions with a slender collar. The only non-tool truck option appears to be Grey Pneumatic, but their’s appears to have a fat collar.

Any recs?

That's a pretty tough ask. I didn't even know that Gray made them. The only 1/4" impact that I know of is the Milwaukee FUEL that's pretty weak to begin with. Can I ask what do you want to use them with?

Using it with a 1/4” or 1/4” impact driver to snug down valve cover bolts.

Most automotive valve cover hardware is around 10N⋅m or 7ft-lb. And you typically don't want to overtorque them either because that can make gaskets leak and/or break fasteners.

Is yours a special application or higher torque spec?

For non-impact slim locking extensions, there's the Stahlwille 405QR with a small push-button or 408QR with a recessed flush button.

VIM, Titan, Klutch all offered locking impact socket adaptors.
Or skip the collar all together and go with a pinned extension like Apex.
Or get dedicated nutsetters.

Something like this?

SK 40995

This might be the best option. Standard 1/4” impact extensions are inexpensive, and I can just add this on.
