I see them on eBay all the time. Have you checked?

Edit: Doesn't look like there are any right now.

AAAAHHH, Buckgnarly strikes again!:lol_hitti You only beat me by a minute this time, I am gaining on you. Yesterday you beat me by 6 minutes with your post in the aluminum c-clamp thread while I was busy writing my response and not paying attention. I guess your brain has been processing at a little bit faster speed than mine lately, but I am gaining on you, so watch out:bounce:.

I think I might take your advice and utilize my limited mental resources best by saving up my energy to try for a Friday all out rapid fire posting assault.:lol_hitti

Have a Menards near you? The Masterforce brand sockets are made in the USA. And they are very reasonably priced. Along the lines of USA craftsman prices.

Sears' website does seem to have a pretty good selection of Armstrong individuals to pick from, but I don't know if the prices are very good or not as I don't own any of that brand.

If you only need a couple your best bet might be to get the part numbers for the sockets you want from their website and then do internet shopping searches for that specific part number.

I do, I have all the common sockets I need just hunting down a few of the odd balls now.

For the right price I will machine one for you. I will then have it hardened and chromed.

What kind of budget do you have for one

You could get a heck of a group buy lined up for the 5/8 1/4 drive, given how many OCD Hansen tray minions post here.

Its not a bad idea. Maybe someone could organize one and demand Wright or SK make us all one.

How about getting a bunch of the Proto impact version and then having them stripped and hard chromed. Maybe someone here could get that done.

took me three years of watching ebay like a hawk,] too find a snap on one, owned it about a year havent needed it yet

I wonder what happens when you go to warranty it with Snap On. It would be worth breaking it just so can all know

Without looking...I bet SK makes one. When I was filling out my 1/4" set with Blackhawk I found SK in the odd/drive sizes. I didn't go up to 5/8" in 1/4". I stopped at 1/2"

SK does not go to that size. I looked through my SK, Craftsman Industrial, Cornwell, Snap On and Proto catalogs.

I read on here somewhere though about the Proto impact version. That is the only known currently produced one I can find.

I can tell you that spot on my rack is empty and it doesnt bother me. I am missing 5-6 sockets on most of my SAE racks. My metrics are filled other than 1/2" Deeps

they give you truck credit for last selling price, same when you break a ***** ratchet screwdriver

Yep. Which was I believe $47-48. I broke mine that was red and loved. I didn't really break it. It just stopped working. He gave me the option of the truck credit or a t-handle. I took the t-handle and bought a NOS orange one from you I believe. I had that damn thing since 1996 I think. Was my first snap on tool I bought.

Just cut the peg off the tray...... I'll bet the Hanson engineers do a search every week and have a good laugh about everyone trying to fill all their trays.
