I not going to buy any more tools but I wonder where one buys this stuff because you never know when you might need that 10 mm socket.

Sadly, I think the best option, and indeed the only option for some makes, is to buy online.

I wish it wasn’t that way, but in the U.K. where I am, the “traditional” tool shops have pretty much all gone, as they can’t pay their costs with the margins they make on hand tools.

From what I have seen, the U.S. isn’t vastly different!

Facom? I’ve never heard of this brand.

Facom are a fairly well known French manufacturer (well known in Europe at least). They made exceptionally nice tools. They’ve been taken over by Stanley Black and Decker, but availability in the U.S, is fairly limited.

What you do find are basically Facom tools now being branded as “MAC” or “Proto”. At extra cost, naturally…!
