1/4" Drive Socket Set Of Choice

at work i rarely use 1/4" drive for anything, i keep what i need in my service truck, it's an mismatched "non set" of SO, mac, cm, matco, and sk

my home set is an sk std/mm, deep/shallow set in a blow molded box, replaced the broken ratchet and breaker bar with so

I was thinking about this thread today, stopped in for a little Tuesday lunchtime pawnshopping and even though I have several complete 1/4" sets, I saw this little red box in the case. It had to come home with me. Snap On 1/4" general service set, metric and SAE, complete with no pieces missing as they usually seem to be. SO wants $582 . I did a little better at $138. It was all kinda black when I got it, but spraying the case with Simple Green and hosing it off worked wonders

With the comments about flaking chrome, etc...I can't pass this GW deal up. Less than $50 for a complete set...I'd be stupid not to. May not be the best out there, but it doesn't have to be.

Great deal! Thats the same exact set I have. I gave $300 for mine sealed from snap-on yet, so I can't complain. I use this set alot! Just wish it had a place in it for the hand driver(screwdrive handle).

Awww...I picked it up today and already loaded part of it onto my Hansen trays. So the stock photo on the site is all you'll get right now.

I'm sorting. Deciding what to keep, where to put them. I'm pretty sure you'll soon see an ad for some Snap On SAE deeps, and GW SAE shallows in here.
