I don't like the idea of buying some cheap hex bit sets just for the plastic storage things, but I am not finding much I like in storage trays for 1/4" hex bits. Mechanics time savers looks ok, but I would prefer a basic plastic holder of some kind to just stick all the ends into.

BTW thats the same set of bits HF sells on sale for $8, and its great.
I KNOW several of the swapmeet guys buy those sets and dump the bits loose in a bin and sell them for 50 cents each, but haven't seen anybody selling just the empty boxes.
