The black plastic 'tray' holder is pretty large, and I certainly don't have 450 bits. The wooden one wolf_from_wv posted does the job, but at the expense of space and weight.
I'll follow Mfolks suggestion and check out HomeDepot.
I am hoping I can find something lightweight, compact, that will fit into either a small metal box or a drawer.
Perhaps it's wishful thinking on my part.

You could always cut it to the size you need

There's a photo posted just above of Nelson Bower's hand holding one upside-down with a mess of bits stuck in it, and a link to a YouTube video showing the socket holders.

Dimensions on that one I just posted the photo of: 7" L x 1-3/16" W x 3/4" H.
Magnetic strip on bottom looks to be about 9/32" thick.
