Thanks again for the enlightenment.
So there are 2 different standards for chuck designs.

And that would explain why my Makita cordless driver bought locally can use a 13mm bit end, but not those cordless tools I bought from USA.

Why limit how many tools you carry? Are you physically carrying them? Replacing dead batteries, who's carry the replacement? Consider having a penetrating lube as well.

As an aside, I was visiting Singapore a few weeks ago for work (Sembawang Air Base). Staying in Orchard (Tang Plaza) and saw mostly the central area (downtown, china town, financial district, gardens by bay)... very modern and $$.

I'm shifting from carrying tools in a van to a motorbike. Since you've visited Sg, thank you, you'll understand how expensive it is to drive around a 4-wheeler.

So I need to reduce the number of tools I carry, including batteries.
I've got myself a Veto Pro Pac MC, so everything has to go in there.
Yes, I've got Fluid Film as well.

I've heard [expensive cars], yet seems everyone has one ;) or wants!

FF is better for protecting terminals (after cleaning)... I'd use a penetrating fluid for easy of loosening corroded fasteners, such as: PBlaster, Kroil, Wurth Rost Off, Loctite Freeze, etc...

The back of the hex is a problem. I sell TOPTUL here in America and several of their power screwdriver bits have the Japanese style back hex end on them. This is about 1/4" longer than the backs of power bits that fit American and European impact drivers. The easy solution to get a Japanese power bit to fit an American impact driver is to use a cut off wheel to cut 1/4" off of the back of the power bit. Took me a while to figure out why my customers were bitchin' about my bits not going into their impact drivers. Simple solution that takes about 30 seconds a bit to fix however.
