As a follow-on to the 1/4” sockets thread, I wanted to open a thread specifically regarding 1/4 drive accessories. There seems to be new innovation in this area coming out of Taiwan, in particular.

So, what are you using for:

• Extensions
• Adapters
• Holders
• Other Accessories

If it is run of the mill stuff, only post it if it has been exceptionally handy or helpful. Not looking for 10 posts about hand-me-down Craftsman extensions 😜.

Hopefully, this will bring to the forefront what is new and useful in this arena.

As I have mentioned previously, I think we will be seeing more applications of 1/4 drive tools as time progresses.

How are you defining "innovation"? An example?

Even SK was doing things like semi-deep 1/4" sockets, and they were pretty un-innovative. ;)

I'm not sure how new they are but, several of my recent 1/4 drive purchases were Ko-ken items. Nut grip universal/swivel sockets to prevent losing a fastener in a difficult area. Their knurled extensions with excellent deep grooves around the female square drive offer outstanding finger spinning.
