1/4 or 3/8in QDs for air compressor setup?

I am setting up my new workshop and had a question on the size of quick disconnects I should use.

The previous owner ran 3/4in galvanized in the walls and buried a line into the garage, but never finished it. My Quincy QT-54 air tank will be here tomorrow and I am in the process of setting up for it. I will run the compressor at a max PSI of 140 which it will output ~15.3CFM. I also have an additional 60 gallon tank that will be directly connected to the QT-54 and the outlet to the rest of the system will be from the secondary 60gal tank.

Right now I have put 3/4in ball valves on all wall outlets and on the secondary 60 gal tank outlet. The tank then has a drier and regulator that are 3/8 NPT.

I currently have reducers to go from 3/4 to 1/4 and then a 1/4 QD. Do you think I need to use the 3/8 QD or should i stick with 1/4?

I will be running a Bendpak HD9 lift and scissor jack (10-20 cfm requirement). Beyond that, it will be primarily basic air tools(cutter/grinder/impact/air hammer) and I may use it for painting or blasting in the future.

Any thoughs/recommendations are appreciated.

The theoretical maximum CFM that can go through 1/4in is 13CFM. That is fine for most things, but with a scissor jack or sand blaster etc, that may not be enough.

That's referring to 1/4" air hose (@50')... You'll be fine with 1/4" couplers.
