So Im looking for the old 1/4" peg board and went to the usual Lowes and HD. The peg board they have is thin and flimsy. Looked at web site and HD list it but says no longer available. I guess this stuff their getting now is made in China. Anybody know where to get the good stuff? Im in Ok. Thanks

Check with a local lumber yard, not a big box store, they will at least know what you are talking about. I ordered some a few years ago from a local yard, the problem I ran into was finding the same shade of brown that I already had installed.

I used to buy 1/4" tempered hardboard at Pacific Panel east of Los Angeles. It was good quality hardboard. They got their hardboard from DPI in Ohio.

Call DPI and ask where you can buy 1/4" DPI pegboard in your area. Ask that they send you a sample. Be sure to buy "tempered" pegboard not "standard" pegboard.

Thanks again will check out these 2 sites. Im just enlarging my reloading room so I just need 2-3 full sheets. Just checked DPI they are selling the 3/16", same as big box lumber. Just checked Menards too. They have the 1/4" but no shipping of this product. Nearest store is Wichita, Ks. About 4hrs away, cant justify that.
