I have a little 6-in-1 driver about the size of a Sharpie. Any labels/printing indicating a brand are long gone. Similar to the HF or HD 6-in-1 screwdrivers, except much smaller.
All the original tips are long gone, but it uses common 1/4' bits.

Here's my first attempt at cloning the Country Comm titanium with bearing driver. Made with odds and ends I had around the shop.
Trying to decide if I want an aluminum thrust collar or rubber cap on the end. And perhaps it could be a bit shorter, though the knurls end up right where my fingertips are. The mag bit holder is nice and strong.

What do you all think?

This thread makes me search and shop and search and shop. The OP image of a cty. comm item made me dig further into stuff they have offered. One thing looked like it could work really really well, if only broached for 1/4 hex, but it was too small. It's been a distracting thread. Thanks Ryan.

I pulled the trigger on that "Fix It Sticks" ratcheting T handle...

I also uploaded the contents of my Hex Go Bag to a GJ Album

Here's another pocket monstrosity. What DOESN'T it do?

Maybe it needs a keychain and light! lol

That configuration is from ratcheting breaker bars, which seems like a decent option but I'm not keen on the idea for a driver. Felo and PB Swiss have something similar. PB Swiss and Wiha have that kind of swing out bit storage, which I'm not keen on.

So its basically a whole bunch of stuff that I'm not keen on ;)

Looks as good as anything that I've seen.

Thanks!

I've already found some issues.
Apparently, they're using a special low friction bearing. (One guy is using a ceramic bearing). Even though I've soaked all the grease out of mine and lubed it with Supco 88, it still has too much drag.
Also, putting a big enough steel bushing on the driver end to get it to spin awhile messes with the magnet holding the bit in. So that's why they did it with brass or titanium. Non-magnetic. Hmm.

Got some more McGyvering to do!

OK, just about finished with my "inertial driver".
I needed some weight near the bit end, but couldn't use steel because that would mess with the magnet holding the bit in. Finally settled on an unused pair of brass A/C manifold hose couplings. Heavy brass, easy to drill, non-magnetic, free. Shortened the OAL some. Now just need a bearing cover. But she's done and working - well see how it performs and make any adjustments necessary.

Thanks for all the links and hints!

Received the one in the OP about a week ago. I didn't know I needed one of these things, but it's shaping up to be a really nice little driver. Did you ever get one, @Ryan?
