It's fairly common. You'll find Taiwan/China imports at most stores.

Snap-On, Zephyr, Apex make them in the USA. Vessel Japan makes them. Lots of others as well.

HF have a sets Hercules series for cheaper. I have their wobble 6" one but haven't use it often so can't say yea nay, can only say it didn't fall apart. I have been using the warrior shorter ones and it's fine.

I think Milwaukee and Dewalt also have the same sets...still cheaper than that SK ones.

Zephyr or Apex, although I thing their longer extensions use pin retention instead of ball.

Trouble is I don't want the 3/8 or 1/2, just the 1/4. I hate to buy a set and only use a third of it.

I have this Titan 49036 wobble plus set ($13, Amazon):

And this Titan 12061 stubby set ($4, O'reillys):

The first set can also be had with regular square drive 12087 ($14, Amazon):

I know you dont need the other drive sizes, but at this pricepoint, it'll be hard to beat. You could always order a separate 4" if needed.

Thanks. Checked both; all of Zephyr's are pin, but Apex offers pin or ball in all lengths (or at least most lengths.) Not cheap, but I suspect the quality is better than the no-name offshore options.

Sounds like you should buy them individually from Snap On so you don't have that trouble.

I picked up a 6pc set of a short and a long (6") in 1/4, 3/8, 1/2 in Husky from Home Depot. $10 or $20.

I have the Apex too.
But they are not impact rated.

Liking the Titan Stubbies...finally might be just what I been looking for for my M12 right angle impact driver to get close fit with a socket similar to using the cordless M12 ratchet.

I have had regular length Titans adapters (3"?) for a long time. I like them, have had no problems. Actually have no problems with most no big name brands... like hardware store bulk, can buy adapters or of course various length bits one at a time from the loose bin on the counter.

Have the Ares brand in 12" xtra long very nice especially like the reach when its needed  Only sold in sets of 3 IIRC

Wobbles in 6" came from TSC work just fine too.

I have numerous lengths of locking extension in square shank drive 3/8" chrome and one hefty 1/2" drive impact but no 1/4" shank driver adapters that lock also interested in a few of them. Thanks for the leads on those, can be valuable addition to the toolbox

Eventually they all can break under repetitive stress
