1/4” shank extended bit drivers, where at?

I used to be able to find 1/4 male shank extended bit drivers at Harbor Freight in a blue case but they’re MIA, these drivers were 3 or so inches in length and in the torq, Phillips, and flat head flavor who makes a higher quality set for my screw gun, love those things for interior work! Help me locate a set please

Someone might be able to suggest a store in you area if they only knew it. Not sure why people are so concerned with listing their locale or region. It's not like the Nigerian Prince is gonna drive to your approximate location to come and steal your wallet.

Seriously, this is a peeve of mine around here, someone will ask about crawlspace ventilation or HVAC advice, or how much something should cost or whatever. Often the location is just as important to answer the question as the question itself.

Not sure why my area matters. Tons of places online, if I needed it local I would’ve asked for that???? Conroe, TX north of Houston

Well for example, if someone wanted to say Menards or some other regional chain. Or a local tool or supply house. Nothing was said about only buying it online. HF was specifically mentioned, and typically that's walking into your local store.

I use a 1/4 bit magnetizer ring if I’m going down somewhere that requires that

If you've got a local Ace Hardware they stock 3" dewalt bits both singles and 5 packs. Think they have similiar in Milwaukee brand as well. Good bits. I use them all the time building and installing cabinets. They fit places a 3" bit holder with insert bit wont.

Best is relative, when dealing with consumables. Ive destroyed Apex bits the same as any other. I do like their reduced tip phillips but even they wear in time. And the new Zephyr Z power bits i tried were horrible.
Even more so, both of these companies cater to select markets of military, areospace, manufacturing, industrial, etc that the average joe is no part of. This makes for recommendation that can be difficult if not impossible to reasonably source. I agree these companies make fine tools. But it doesnt really help the guy who started this thread.
Lets be real. He needs bits for his screwgun. Hes not building a spaceship.

Because there maybe some locals on here to help you find a better stocked Harbor Freight. I have found some Harbor Freight to be permanently sold out of certain tools.

There's that word "consumables" again. When you start paying $7 a piece for them, they stop being consumables because you start taking care of them and not abuse them.

Worrying about a bit takes time, lets say you think you dropped it in an attic or behind a cabinet or whatever, then you take the time to go looking for it. Time is money. Buy some cheaper ones, like Dewalts/Milwaukee at 67¢ each, who cares if you lose one. I've never ever worn out a Torx bit so why pay more for them? And Phillips always lasted plenty long enough for the 3 quarters I paid for them.

Zephyr Tool Group has some long bits on Ebay and Amazon. Shipped direct from Zephyr (the manufacturer). They manufacture bits for Snap-On.

This seller has been selling USA made long bits for at least a couple years. Longest bits in the set are 6". 33 bits $18 so that's about $0.55 each shipped.

Once again, if I needed a local store I wouldve stated so. No one has posted a harbor freight link to the ones I’m looking for so don’t think it’d matter if I put my location or not. I guess I understand what y’all are saying but I see question after question on here without a location and all of the sudden mine is the issue?

The reason why I pay more is because I can't tolerate bits that don't fit correctly, or bits that wear out after one or two uses. The reason why cheap tools are available is because cheap people keep buying them.

The HF item was #97807. They no longer sell them in the box and the old bits were S2 from what i can tell. Seemed decent quality.
