What's a good price to pay for something like this? Is $100 way too much for new but never used? I like the old metal box vintage feel but would I get a better product buying new or just spending more money? Thanks.

That does not seem like a bad price, depends on if you want it or not. I would probably buy it for that price.

$100 isn't a bad deal. The ratchet value has gone down since everyone wants fine tooth now. So thats in your favor. Id offer $75 and negotiate from there. If its a needed tool for you then $100 is fair.

For your own personal use don't go above $100. If you're reselling it I'd say $50 -$60 max. Metric sockets are worth more than SAE.

All my tools 99% are all metric, working as a mechanic at Yamaha/Kawasaki shop.

Is it metric?

I like metal boxes like that, everything now is plastic. I bought some metal storage boxes like that were like Proto with piano type hinges. They hold up great.
