It needs an Ecoboost, but seriously it seems like a cool car especially for 1500.

Likely priced right considering the crusty areas but very nice otherwise. 1964 is my preferred model after the '56

I like the prior body just before this one. Yesterday I saw a ~1961 going by on a flatbed. It was a convertible in grey primer, and I was reminded of how great looking they are. The same period Lincoln Continental is a great design too. The AACA thinks so, as it's on their list of postwar classics, which is very short.

$1500 is a good deal I think. A great summer weekend car.

Those birds are tanks, they have a strong body and frame. Driving a wrecker as a kid, never forgot it. Brought one in that hit a station wagon, the bird took it on the front corner.

Wrinkled up the front cap real good of the wagon. The bird only needed a fender. Surprised the hell out of me, not a big ford guy but they do or did build some good cars from time to time...
