1" auger flighting

Would you elaborate a bit more on the dimensions and what you are wanting to do? Most of them flighted screws/augers I've seen are fully welded and would be a royal pain to salvage without much work. Do you have specs on thickness, desired helix?

would like the flighting to fit in a 1" id tube, 1/4" diameter center shaft, will be used in a farm display to auger "corn" . I have seen what I'm looking for in a farm toy but been trying for a long time to get ahold of guy who made them but no luck, would like to have 18" long pieces

where do you live? if there are poultry farms in your area check with equipment supply houses. The smallest flight auger I can think of is larger than you are looking for it is flex auger but you could add a center shaft.

You making a Archimedes screw model? Might use a ship auger bit.

just use a 1 inch wood auger bit from lowes

Since this is just for demonstration purposes, you might be able to take a dowel, say 5/8" dia., and wrap some i/8" diameter vinyl insulated wire around it and glue it in place with super glue. It's not the same a true flight, but it might demonstrate the idea. You would have to pay attention to the size of the "corn" you transfer with it. Too big and it'll jam. If some slips backwards, it's OK. It's just a demo. Piece of acme threaded rod might work too.
