You never can make them big enough. I built my first shop late 90s 2 bays wide. added another bay and a lean to 8 years later all full. Now adding 1700 sq ft to finally close the front up with a carport in the front. I am not a carpenter but I built this be myself one board at a time. 1st phase pictures

2nd phase 2nd picture shows huge tree that fell against shop. Picture shows the original shop with the tree against it and you can see the new roof of the extension.

Great job. I like doing stuff myself too, but sometimes it ends up being an expensive lesson. :)

Now shopping for roll up doors. I going to have 2 10' wide and 1 12' wide on the front and I left a opening in the back for a 8' wide roll up to use for air flow in the summer.
