Where did you come across the huge pile of hard-to-find Plomb tools? Did you rob some ex Plomb employee and clean out his workbench at home?
At least if you ever get a job tightening the nuts on the Golden Gate Bridge, you have the ratchet needed for the job.
The 3/4" set you found is pretty awesome but the huge ratchet takes the cake.

Actually the ratchet is not mine it belongs to a friend of mine in San Jose i shot the pick on the way down to Pomona. If you guys could see his collection you`d all faint!

So I got one today: Needs some work; I'm hoping just a clean up and re-lube, (and fix someone's bad idea on screw replacements) will do it, as a rebuild kit is $85!
Its' sitting next to a 1/2" drive Plvmb... (And yes, that is a 17" Plvmb Extension!)
I also just outgrew the box I cleaned up for the 3/4" drive rat stuff; this one won't even fit in the box, it's WAY too long!

I don't know if anyone noticed, but the maroon's who were last inside this rat did NOT know what the hell they were doing...
They used Hex bolts to put it together, and the head's disappeared inside the countersink...
So rather that screw with it, I drilled out the heads of the bolts to 1/4", so I could separate the pieces and replace with proper screws...
A nice deep pilot hole...
and No. two ready to drill...
And... Catastrophe!
Aw ****, It's definitely needing a rebuild kit, or a LOT of parts repairs...
With a rebuild kit sitting at $85, I think this one gets de-greased, and de-rusted and them onto the back burner, since I'm not burning up with need for a 1" rat at this point...
