1" mnpt to 4" mnpt reducer

Does such a thing exist? I couldn't find one and would think that it would be vey costly to have someone machine one.

Any thoughts? Find someone with a metal lathe and have a bottle of scotch as payment?

Could you use a hex reducer bushing with a short ******? Pex supply has a 4" x 1" hex.

I've got all kinds around me, any plumbing supply house. Are you using it for electrical or plumbing?

Is this electrical related or plumbing? Which one will dictate where to go for the parts, it's unwise to use plumbing parts for electrical, but reducing bushings are avail. for either.

personally I would use a box or conduit body to transition -seems like the conductors would be shredded when entering the 1" hole on a 4" reducer unless it was a bell type. Maybe stack two bell types, one from 4-2,1/2 and one 2,1/2 to 1"

If it's an electrical application, the J-box idea is best. Plumbing, go PVC with bell reducers...
