I completely agree. I bought the 1ton at $100 a while back and it works fine but having the extra lift of the 2ton will make sure you'll be able to lift most stuff around the shop.

The 1ton had a time lifting a 292 Chevy at the 1/2 ton placement. It wouldn't do anything at 1/4 ton.

The 2 ton is much better, and folding. It does work well, but we have already broken the wheels @ my work. I still plan on buying one for home use though.
