Nice machine, and even better are the accessories. If you paid under $2000 for the lot, you did very well. Key is that you have chucks, steady rest, follower rest, toolpost grinder, and a lot of other hard to find and expensive accessories. And a quick change gearbox, which makes this hobbyist grade lathe actually usable. I have an identical machine, and have done some good work with it.

It was an older gentleman who was getting rid of stuff he wasn't going to use any more
Your making me feel like I should go back and give him more
He only wanted $600 for the lot
As u can see, it is in excellent condition
He had it for like 40 years he thought

Great Deal! Congats. You even got a tool post grinder and milling attachment(at least that's what it looks like). You will have many hours of fun. It looks as though everything is in excellent condition.

YOU ****!!!

I have the same machine with only half the accessories for $325 but some rust with a lot of clean up required. I'd gladly have paid the difference for what you got! Great score!

What a beautiful machine! I'm sure the gentleman seller was happy to see it going to a good home, and that it will be taken care of as well as he has for so many years.

Pretty much a "Once in a life time deal" and you totally ****.

You might want to think about a more substantial table that won't allow the bed to twist or sag. There was a guy over at the Homeshop Machinist site that was floating a cultured granite table in place for his lathe
