i got this from my grandpa and he did alot of wood work. and i dont do wood work i use alot of metal, so this unit has a wood blade. ive tried to call craftsman but they need a part number and there is none on it. this unit is probably from the 80's or 90's and ive tried to get a blade at hd and menards but they are too big. here is pics of the saw and if anybody can help me locate a metal cutting blade for it i will be thankfull.

The number they need is the 113. Number in your picture.

That saw was never designed for metal cutting. You will either break blades like crazy, or ruin the machine. Too fast of a motor, too much flex needed in the blade in a three wheel design, no brushes to keep tires clean. If you really need a metal machine, sell this and buy the right tool.

I had one of those. It uses a 56-7/8" blade, which is very hard to find. My local Sears couldn't order them, I would have had to get them made up by a shop.

The three wheel saws are very compact but otherwise not that useful. In all honesty, unless it has deep personal value, I would sell it to offset the cost of a metal saw.

Aside from blade size and needing a fine tooth blade made for cutting metal, bandsaws for wood turn much too fast. Multi purpose saws have gear reducers built in or as an accessory. My 14" Delta blade speed is 3100 ips for wood and selects speeds in the low hundreds for metal. You could probably get some reduction by playing with the motor pulleys to make a dedicated metal saw but it seems hardly worth it
