$10 Hansen Trays

I just got back from my local Sears where they had all Hansen trays for $10 each. I picked up the 3/8 metric and standard as well as both 1/2 versions. I let my parents get the 1/2 for Christmas since I am just 18 and can still make a decent Christmas haul. I opted not to get the 1/4 since they are not as good of deal. It only is on sale tonight. I am sorry the post is so late but better late than never, right?

The Sears site is showing the 3/8" metric and 1/2" SAE at $9.99.

A good price, if you have the room to spare in your box for Hansen trays (I don't).

You're gonning to love those trays I have 8 of them in my box. 2 for 1/4", 2 for 3/8", 2 for 1/2" and the last 2 for my 1/2" drive impacts

How do they compare to the El'Cheapo Harbor Freight versions?

Rick I have the Hansen 6 pc. set, to me I feel it is better than the H F. But I do not make a liveing with my tools.

Well the numbers are angled up. That was a big factor in swaying me toward them since they're going into the cabinet.

I havent been able to directly compare but i will say they're completely stiff even when fully loaded. I read in the HF vs Hansen thread that the HF had some flex. Guess that really only matters if you plan on taking the whole tray with you. Apparently theres a problem with the spacing with a peg or two on the HF version. Its just $10 for the trio from HF though so i think most people are willing to allow for certain issues. Personally i just really wanted markings facing up and since its only a one time purchase i didnt mind spending the extra.

Did anyone else on here buy some of the Hansen trays when Tooltopia had the 6 trays for $48.63 last week? It's the second time that I have snagged that deal because I prefer them to the others that I have seen.

Tooltopia has them for 10 bucks all the time, also the 6 pack is 52 bucks all the time.
