If these are made in the USA, then this is definitely a good buy. I bought the same set without the 16x18mm bonus wrench a few months ago and I'd buy them again today.

EDIT - Between shipping and sales tax, the grand total was too much, I may as well just buy locally. Oh well, thanks for link

Thanks for the tip. I had $10 in surprise points for a $30 purchase so I needed to add something. I actually needed a 3/8 to 1/2 adapter so it worked out.

Now hopefully, I get a USA VV or VA version otherwise I'm taking this back.

Merchandise Subtotal $33.95
Shipping $0.65
SYWR Redemption $10.33
Pre tax Subtotal $24.27
Tax $2.04

Total $26.31

I did not feel like reading 28000 pages of fine print. I avoid all these offers like the plague. They always seem to somehow snag me for $10 or $20 before I catch it and then cancel...... But thanks anyway. Much appreciated :)

Obviously your call but I don't believe they even take your credit card number when you register for the trial. It just expires when your time is up (unless of course they don't extend it for free which they usually do for another 90 days).

I thought these were not so great, made in USA or not.

I have tried the Craftsman set (avoid, IMHO), and later the Craftsman pro set that SK made (only slightly better, IMHO). My go to's are my Snap on's or my JH Williams made Kobalts (look like Snap on's). The later Kobalt branded ones I have seen, were by Armstrong, and I think those or JH Williams would be good.

I have some craftsman raised panel's and they spread

I have a Craftsman set that I bought a few years ago. I think it's made in the US, but I'm not too impressed with it. It's pretty sloppy at least for brake lines on my Toyota. 10/12mm

Maybe Toyota uses standard sizes for brake lines?

I have both the SAE and metric Craftsman line wrenches. (New) Not happy with them, started buying snap on , much happier. BTW, I have other Craftsman tools and am very happy with them. My .02.

I've been using my Knipex pliers wrench most of the time when needing a flare nut wrench. Still saving up for a Snap-On set, though I have a few Sunex and SKs kicking around in key sizes.

Bought the 9 piece as the description said it was made in USA and the 10 piece was out of stock.
When you receive your order, please report back and let us know if you received full-polished wrenches as shown in the picture, and made in USA as stated in the description. Sears link

Just ordered the 9-piece set for $24.58 after SYWR and signing for SYWMax. Signing up was a simple click after acknowledging the terms and conditions--no payment info is requested.

Dam so the $30 dollar buy was a way better deal at $30 oh well still got $20 bucks back in points for my purchases.

I'm sure you can find one to fill in the spot used somewhere. And really the 10pc set is probably getting to the bottom of the barrel in terms of condition. Sears has had these on clearance for awhile and these are probably the last of them. I got them not so much for car use but for general use. There have been a few times where they would have been handy. And yeah the $20 back in points makes the deal regardless. Even if they **** at worst you're out all of $20. I've blown more on one hand of blackjack. haha

I bought the 9 pc set last year, the one without the "bonus wrench". Here are some pics. I haven't used them on a car, but I've used them a couple times working on copper compression tubing when I installed a new dishwasher. I like the way the heads of some real weight and heft to them.

Here are some actual pics of the set (minus the bonus wrench).

Here is a link to the 9pc set thats also supposed to be USA it costs a little more at $34.96
Link

My 9 piece set was just delivered. No COO on the tools, but the label on plastic storage bags states "Made in China". I was already questioning if these were really needed, but the COO made the return decision easy.

My 9-piece set should arrive tomorrow. Honestly, unless the quality is terrible I'll keep them regardless of COO. Already had $8 in points expire and another $10 would have expired next month.

I definitely miss the days when it was taken for granted that Craftsman hand tools were made in the US. My kids will get my tools as well as my dad's, and their kids might someday wonder why an "overseas" brand like Craftsman once had USA stamped on their products. My generation is bad enough, stumbling across a "Made in USA" tool and wondering when its manufacturer started outsourcing for newer versions.

I just chatted with an individual on Sears that confirmed the 9 pc. flare nut wrench set had origins in China...

Time for them to up their product description. I agree these look to be decent quality, but every other hand tool in my box has the USA COO stamp and I have no intention of heading the other way.

I decided to try the chat again and this time was told they are usa made so I guess the only real way to find out is to order them.. if they turn up not to be I'll just return them to my local store
