Picked this up today. My question is did Stanley use this horseshoe logo after they bought out Atha?

Turbo Thanks for the compliment on the workbench. Local cl find. I refinished it and now it is in my home office. Great for photos. I should put that in another thread.

Yes, Stanley continued the Atha line and the use of their horseshoe logo for quite some time after they acquired Atha. I believe Stanley was still making Atha-branded tools into the 1930s and it may have continued on longer than that.

Looks like a good hammer head but the handle makes me want to throw up as it looks like a clothes rod someone put in a lathe to put grooves in.
My compliments on the bench too. Who made it?

Thank you for all your responses. The handle was on it when purchased. It will get replaced one day. work bench is a C. Christiansen out of Chicago. Just needs a handle for the side vise. I will start a thread on it.
