Does anyone know what service wire I need to run 200 feet from transformer to new service in an out building. It will be 100 amp service. I plan on using 1.5 or 2 inch conduit, should I use aluminum or copper wire
Thanks Bob

Wylie is right (as always) !

Most 1 man garage/shops can comfortably run on 60A service. There are practical reasons to feed the cable from a 90A breaker.

Aluminum is cheaper and easier to work with than copper. 2-2-2-4 MHF will work but it won't carry 90A that distance.
