As a spin off of the Lowes thread for the Skil drill bit set. I couldn't find those but I did find a very similar set at Menard's. It only has single bits of the 9/32 and 3/8, so it has two more smaller bits. The price sticker was a few bucks more than the Skil set, $12.99 vs the $9.97 for the Skil set.

As I checked my link, I found it is apparently on sale now. I'm not sure what I paid right at this moment but the online price is $6.99. They are china made stuff but that makes them simple throw away bits.

These are in the ad starting tomorrow so everyone should be able to buy them at the $6.99 price then :)

It showed at $12.99 for me, but then I changed the zip code to the one listed, added to cart at $6.99 and had it shipped just fine. Thanks for the suggestion.

Just picked up one of these sets. Sale Tag was on the shelf showing $6.99. Rang up at $12.99 and just had to have them do a price check.

Yes, Menards price policy is 14 days.

Outside of that window, you could just buy new and return the old ones ;)

I went back with the reciept today and got a price adjustment. I took the credit, bought another set for myself and two more for a buddy. He's putting one in his race trailer and the other goes in the box in his race car shop.

At about 7 cents piece, it almost makes them disposable drill bits.
