Hello everyone,
I am new to Floor epoxy and am currently looking for enough to do 1500 sq ft. I am leaning towards a few companies. Epoxy-coat, Armorclad, or Legacy. They all seem to stand behind there products. I was looking at Budget Bob but, i hate the fact you can only correspond through e-mail. I like to talk to people if I have problems. My main question is do I need to Prime the floor before putting the base down ? Half say yes the half say no. Both sides have valid arguments to back up their view. Epoxy-coat doesn't recommend a primer while others say you absolutely need to. Is it the difference between Cyclo aliphatics vs the aliphatics ? If i spelled those right. LOL

All opinions appreciated.

If there are let's say 20 threads on this subject and the views have been let's say 50-50, what makes you think you're going to get a definitive answer in another thread? You're not. So, you're not going to sleep at night after all that prep and work and you skipped a step...
