Well up to place to spend 3 days working but on 3rd day my knees(from fall) and ankle just couldn’t take it no more. Probably due to all trips up/ down ladder, trying to get something done. For once I’m kinda happy with results and I meet my goal for this trip. I open up 10 bags of Rockwool insulation, which most fit but I also had to do some custom fitting. I have 6 bags left which I’ll be coming close, fingers cross. Small project was installing 4 plugs in those very nice weather proof boxes. Now I don’t have run long cords anymore. I have 10’ ceiling height which will be V groove 1x6’s so I installed several pieces of ceiling strapping, if that’s what it’s called. And under y’all suggestion I ran #10 wire for elec dryer just in case. As you can tell, lots trips up/down that 6’ ladder. Few pics for proof that I’m not goofing off. Thanks guys for all y’all ideas that has help me along this journey.
Last pic after owning this place for 3 yrs I did not know we have a gardenia bush.

I’ve never understood that ceiling strapping thing.

Appears to be a New England thing best I can gather.

Not done here mid-Atlantic region. At least in production homes for my entire career.

Good question Larry, for me the reason behind my madness is that the 1x6 bead board is running parallel with trusses. In master bed rm the direction that running 1x6’s is diagonal with trusses so I won’t need strapping. Strapping is lot work, lot trips made on ladder. Thanks for your question👍
