After 3 weeks of trying to buy a heater through airbooster.com I gave up and got my money back, couldn't ever get the guy to answer an email, phone call or even respond to PayPal...PayPal gave me my cash back.

Problem is now I am shopping for another heater, gonna need at least a 10K, and like everyone else I'm looking for the best deal. I think they just undersold it on the price on their website and would have not made enough money back or the guy just doesn't care, regardless I'm now without heat (as cold as it's been that wouldn't have made any difference). Ideas??

This was a King and was drop shipped at about $550 to my door - single phase/24v transformer for thermostat

Spring can't come soon enough!

If you know anyone that deals with grainger then have them ask the rep what kind of deal you can get on a 10k dayton heater. The list price on mine was something like $800 and he got it for me for under $400 and they still made money.

Buy two 5,000w heaters for $150ish each?

Not a crazy idea either. With a fairly large space, you could space them out for better circulation. And some days you may only need one.

Our house heater - 1600 sq/ft - has two 4500w elements and a 3500w, all applied progressively. The bill for last months cold, with the house at 65F, was over $300.
