Seems the internal connections on some of the Chinese air compressors (HF, etc.) use 10mm aluminum tubing.
I had a tube crack and replaced it with 3/8" copper, which is darn close.
At the compression fittings I used 3/8 compression ferrules, but they were a good bit shorter then the ones that were in the 10mm tube.
I figured since the new tube was a tad undersize, I might need to tighten then a bit more than normal.
Between the extra tightening and the less length I am close to out of thread. I was wondering if there was a brand or type of ferrule that was longer, like the metric ones.
I have it sealed well, but wanted to have an answer in my back pocket if it starts leaking or I need to fix it again.
Thanks all
