I just missed out on a Snap On hex bits socket set.
It had 11 and 13 mm 1/2 drive hex bits along with the normal sizes.

I thought the common large sizes were 12mm, 14 mm and 17mm.
What on earth are 11 mm and 13mm hex bits used for. :headscrat

Heres the link

Also, are the Snap On hex bits that much stronger than all the other makes?
Armstrong hex bit sockets have a better price, but since they are made by Danaher, I suspect they may be no better than Craftsman.

13mm fits brass injector inserts on early fuel injected Volkswagens (impossible to find when you need one).

Thanks, could you use a 1/2" SAE in its place, or would it slip and strip the injectors. ( I could see it being easy to round out brass )

Also, I'm sure a 7/16" would do for 11mm.

Yes, 1/2" fits; filling out the hex socket set with the proper tool, however, would be very satisfying!
