11 Drawer Map Cabinets - VA Auction

They're getting rid of 54 of these things in ~6 set increments with the auctions going off tonight. The quantity is going to make sure that these go cheap (on a per each basis)

I was looking for these for years, don't need them now nor do I have the room.

This is one lot of 6 - 11 drawer Map cabinets.
Located in the basement of the Newman Library on the VT campus.
There are 54 map cabinets pictured.
They have been divided into 9 lot of 6
They are in fair condition.
They are not numbered, first come, first served.
Buyer is responsible for all loading and removal.

High quality cabinets but limited uses for tool guys, I unless you have a massive collection of wrenches you could lay flat. I have the 1.5/2" version and love them but still find I'm limited to what I can put in them.

Great deal though.

Edit: a lot of people repurpose these for table bases. Take tops off, build lower base if too short, put glass on top the sell for $500 each table/stack. Magazine/book storage for a coffee table comes to mind.
