I would like to put a 110v electric heater in my 3 car garage 22x33. Any suggestions on one to put in there for occasional use? I currently have a 110v 20amp outlets in my garage. I do not want to run a 240v wire. Please help?
The only reason you'd go to 230V is to get more current. The maximum wattage of the 110V circuit is (volts * amps) = 2200 watts. If that's enough to heat your garage, then you can use that circuit. You won't be able to run anything but the heater when it's on though.
