$12/$15 Mobile 1 rebates at amazon good until 5/31/13

Its time to change the oil in the beast so I figured I would shop around a little before buying 10 qts of 0w40.

Turns out amazon has the best price on oil right now. Plus they are offering either a rebate if you purchase 5 qts($12) plus filter($15). I found it is actually cheaper to buy the qts individually($6.97/qt) than to buy the 6 pack($8.51/qt), however amazon is also offering a free filter if you buy the 6 pack so check the prices for your application and that may be a slightly better route to take.

Yep, just picked up two 5-quart 0w30 for $22.47 each at Walmart. Never seen it cheaper anywhere else.

The jugs are by far the cheapest I've seen including any special deals. It also doesn't hurt that my 2 cars take exactly 2 jugs of mobil 1.

When I bought oil, Walmart never had 0w40 in jugs. Now that they do, I have 45 quarts of oil in my room.

I'm debating buying more for later now... I hope it stays at 22!
