I love these collapsible ladders, we started using them years ago at work and I've been a fan ever since. A couple years back we used a groupon deal like this to get a couple and were not very happy. We had been using the Xtend & Climb brand but the ones through Groupon were another brand. They may have been as safe but certainly didn't feel like it. They felt cheap and flimsy by comparison. We ditched them in favor of more Xtend & Climb versions.

I can't say whether the quality of the ones on groupon now are good or bad - but just something to be aware of. I do kinda like the stoppers they have between rungs on this one though, I actually just pinched the hell out of both of my middle fingers a couple weeks with mine. I guess the con to that though is the overall size is larger.

Code doesn't work for me. I've got the 15' Xtend & Climb telescoping ladder. I install Christmas lights as a part time gig and this past year was the first year I've used them. WOW, these are SOOOOOO much faster than messing with aluminum extensions or little giant fold-ups. Given that this is an off-brand, I'd just get the "Generic" brand on Amazon for $60. Amazon's return policy is a little more forgiving that Groupon.

Well, I received mine today and it arrived damaged. The rung locks on several levels were stuck inside the ladder frame. When I tried to return it through groupon for a replacement I was told that replacement was not an option. I could only return it for a refund. They would be glad to have me purchase a new one but somehow replacing this one is impossible. I am sorry to have wasted anyone's time on this post. It would seem that it is not a good deal.

Yeah, totally. Thanks a bunch.

I now know to basically avoid all of them unless it's the Xtend & Climb brand, or try it out in person first.
