12" Atlas Lathe

Sorry for the haphazard pics. Some of them were taken while I had it in pieces to give it a bit of cleanup....

Lathe has a newer 1hp 110V GE (US made) motor. Plug it in and go. 3 and 4 jaw chucks, plus an extra backing plate. two steadies, tailstock, collets, a couple of dead centers, a few toolhders, tailstock chuck. Quick change gearbox. Gears look excellent.


Machine has been well taken care of. Everything is in nice shape considering its age. Even the belts look good. I would love to keep it and use it, but my garage is just packed. I don't want to store it for years until I have the room for it.

I haven't come across too many of these, and none in this condition. Perfect lathe for a hobbyist.

I've found a spot for this in storage, and it will be going there by next weekend.

Between then and now, I will take $1500 (firm) to get it out of my garage. I also found a set of collets and a collet closer for it that will go with it, as well as an adjustable link belt.
