good price and good quality but i have a set and have never use them, socket and spinner handle does just the trick and saves space.

they used to go on sale for $19.99, I bought a set then for a spare and noticed they are missing some sizes. If you buy just SAE, you get 1 or 2 (forget which) missing sizes...I think a green one...

This^

They are a great deal, but you save a lot of space by using a spinner and socket set, plus you can use an extension or universal if needed.

The 14 piese set (one one more driver each SAE and Metric) Model # 34070 is also on sale for $40.** and there's a $5 off $35 coupon. The little extra money was worth it to me to get more drivers.

And you don't have to worry about losing the socket when it falls off. Nutdrivers definitely come in handy. I already have this same set, or else I'd be jumping on this deal.

Agreed. There are many applications where these are the perfect tool, especially assembly of various things and not necessarily vehicle maintenance or similar. I'm sure I paid more for my separate sets of metric and SAE long ago and I think this is a great deal. The storage case is a nice add-on.

The case is very nice. Can't tell you how many times I have fumbled through drawers looking for the right nut drivers.

Local Sears (Sun Valley Mall, Concord, CA) did not have them marked on special, but they rang up as $24.99 and I happened to have $2 in SYWR points ... so a pretty good deal.

I actually only wanted the metric, so will most likely try to sell the SAE in the case or gift to someone. These should be very useful for starting off bolts when there isn't enough load on them for a ratchet to work, and I either don't have a spare hand or my hands are covered in transmission fluid (like yesterday when I really could have used these).

Thanks for the original post.
