I'm trying to replace the adapter in the picture and I can't find the exact one.

Can anyone please tell me it these specs will work? I know I will have to splice the wires.

Just to be 100% clear the photo you posted says it has a 24-volt AC output and all your words say 24-volt DC.

Please confirm the photo is of the defective power supply.

Note I have repaired a few similar power supplies. I put the in a vise and squeeze them until I hear the glue joint crack turn it 90° and squeeze again and crack another glue joint. The pry open the cracked glue joint with a razer blade. Some where inside is a thermal fuse that has almost certainly gone open. Replace it with one with the same temp and amp rating

Answers to your questions.

Door bell transformer is open and we have toddlers running around (looks like the Amazon one will do the trick though)

The problem with my adapter is the prongs are broken off. I bought a generic one hoping I could transfer the internals, but the broken one had the prongs cast into the plastic and the donor had the prongs part of the transformer.

My mistake thinking it was AC/DC. Now I know what the squiggly line means. lol

Thank you so much for the help.
