12v Li-ion question

I have a 12v Bosch drill I love, looking at 1/4" cordless ratchets and noticed the Milwaukee M12 batteries look strikingly familiar to the Bosch. Can anyone confirm or deny if it is the same battery?

I can confirm that they are incompatible systems.

The Makita batteries are very similar as well. Nothing places nice together though
