Ok, so I'm about to drywall the 12x12 workshop and have to put my outlets in and run wire. I'm going 50" so they will be above the seam of the drywall. Big question tho... How many? I know its always more more more.. but reality its a 12x12 shop. My snap on box will take up almost one whole wall, work bench on another, The workbench/s will be getting outlet strips down the front and if I find some nice vert file cabinets thats the other wall. There will be two outlets in the ceiling with extension cords on reels. So the wall with the door two and the others 2 or 3? so every 4-6'? I'm thinking 8 at 50" may be enough or just a bit much, and 2 in the ceiling, one main light fixture with 3 60w LED 5000k daylight bulbs over the bike lift. Going with either LED shop lights from HD down each side, WB and tool box and sunglasses may be needed. Its 7' 8" ceiling height.
So outlets enough? All 120, no welding in this part of the house.
