My new hobby shop is coming tomorrow and I am trying to find some paint for the floor. Can't get oil based here in good ole NY. It has some kind of 180 day particle board floor and I will be doing small engine repair in the building .
Looking for a good paint or ? To keep floor from soaking up chemicals & oil

Thanks

Look at the TDS on the epoxy and look at the elongation number. We've done a few with Rust Bullet too http://www.garageflooringllc.com/2015/05/20/rust-bullet-over-wood-shed-floors/

I think the epoxy idea would be about the best way to go. I would not be too thrilled with a particle board floor though. But, with a really good epoxy on the floor, it should be OK.

Well , a little update. Got the floor done with 2 part epoxy, got it painted and about half of the insulation is in.

You could use our 1 part Armorpoxy Paint. Its an alkyd-epoxy hybrid, or use our SPGX clear coat (more fuel/solvent resistant).
