Nice video about the production of Beta tools.

@Miskin can u tell me what line of unior did you use for the test? Lsi or extra series?
As Jure said, is LSI but i didn't test it because is No 14. I will buy a No 13 in the future to test it.

Hi guys, unfortunately this test comes to an end. I will not manage to finish it because I got fired today. Me and three other colleagues refused to work for peanuts so we went home. I hope I can continue the test some other time on some other workshop. Last wrench i measure was BETA 55 13-17, HRC 43 (Lok unfortunately I did not manage to test it.)

This was my favorite thread. I'm sad to hear it has come to an end in this way. Good for you standing up for your rights as a human being. With the effort you put into this thread I can only imagine that you are an outstanding employee and very skilled in your field. You should have no problem finding employment elsewhere.

Thank you all for your kind words! I am optimistic person by nature and since i'm healthy I'm not worried. I'm a little puzzled because I see all the technical companies in Greece (those remaining) to eliminate the production and give based on trade. Buy from China and sell to Europe.

Best of luck...I used to deal with this problem...may be you will find newer machines/tooling with this...then we can see a 6mm hex test! These make any 6mm into pretzels in short order! My 13mm's sit quietly in my box for now

Ouch this is a terrible development hope you end up somewhere better for you and your family.

Its mildly amusing that all the snap-on fans and enemies alike never got to know how the snapon fared.....the legend continues.

Last wrench i tested! Snap-On after two months of hard work in the hands of my colleague, who also got fired! Great guy for tool destroying! :bounce:

I think Snap-On did better than Hazet. If you consider that is longer from Hazet, and the torque applied greater, fared well.

Thanks again for your concern! I'm disappointed because i couldn't test some wrenches (FACOM, STANLEY, CRAFTSMAN, HEYCO, HUSKY, PITTSBURGH, BETA) which been send from some GJ members. Sorry guys :(

I asked my three year old daughter to choose the most beautiful wrench from the carton. She chose the Facom 440. The hardness test sets no winner but the the beauty contest has a winner! Facom! I totally agree! :D
