I want to adds two 4th T8's in my garage but being in condo everything must be in conduent or MC. I don't want to buy 3 spools (black, white, green) for this small job. Lowe's only has 500 ft spools of each. Can I run some 14/2 romex that I have thru 3/4 gray plastic?

I would not pull the romex through it unless it was just a sleeve (think receptacle in a basement with a conduit stub coming down the wall), and then make sure you use a bushing on the end.

You shouldn't strip the romex down and pull those conductors, either. They are not marked/rated, plus the ground is bare.

You can buy single strands of THHN by the foot at my local lowes and home depot.

Yes you can run the 14/2 through the 3/4" conduit but is a pain to do, and as said before don't strip off the sheathing of the romex. Lowes and HD near me also sells single stranded wire by the foot.

Find a local electric supply house (hint: they will not have a big orange or blue sign, and they will also not carry lawn and garden equpiment) and you should be able to buy MC wire or THHN by the foot for much cheaper than the big box stores.

Lowes and HD keep the 500 ft spools of 10, 12 and 14 in several colors on the rotating rack and will sell off of them by the foot, cost more, but if you don't need much, its no biggie. Just tell then you need wire cut.

Yes. It should not be difficult through 3/4". My temporary barn lighting is all PVC conduit/boxes with NM-B pulled through it.
