Moving into a place that has a 19x20 garage, I'm guessing the 19 is the length?

So my truck according to a few resources on the web is exactly 19.1 feet. Being so close, would a set of typical car ramps for oil changes give me enough angle to fit in the garage?

Figured some of you may have some experience with this. My other idea was putting a roll pan on the truck but....rather not.

I'd say depends on the stairs.
But you should be able to get under that truck without ramps.

I have a 24x24 and can get my 2013 GMC 2500HD into the garage by a couple inches because I would hit the stairs, and I even moved the stairs to give me more room. And I can't get my wifes Escape in with my truck, well it fits but is super difficult to to get in and out because the truck can't get very close to the wall, has to go straight in.

I meant using ramps to fit the truck in the garage to park. Other idea was it is a single door 2 car garage, so if it's 19x20 and it will not back straight in I could park on an angle and get it to fit in that way.

You'll just have to measure the actual garage depth, with the garage door closed when you're that close. I don't think driving up ramps is going to gain you more than a 1/2". I don't think it would be safe to drive onto the ramps every single day. They're made for sporadic use.

How do you like the truck? Been contemplating about one a little myself. Test drove one at a car show. It's very nice, but I wonder about reliability, I currently have a 2001 that I purchased new, and have had very little trouble with it. It is starting to have some rust appearing and some other quirks, and at age 55, I figure if I keep it that long that I have maybe one or two (at the most) new trucks to acquire.

Park your new truck outside where it belongs. Get an old truck to park in the garage! Lots of 68-72 Chev/GMCs out there for a reasonable price. You'll be really glad you did !

19.1 foot truck in a 20 garage is TIGHT. Hope you dont have to open the garage every time you want to get in the passenger side or maybe driver side depending on where you house entry is withing the garage. To me that is unmanageable. But if your careful and determined...I suppose its doable.

I have a 24x32 and I rarely park my 2011 Denali crew cab inside. I have a 24 inch workbench against the wall that reduces the depth to around 22 feet deep. If I removed that I would be happy with everything. I plan on shifting some things around to do this soon though.

It also depend on how your garage door is. In Florida we use "hurricane bars" on the newer garage doors to increase strength. These stick out about another 4 inches into the garage space.

BTW I love the 2014s. Hopefully I will upgrade in the few years.

I have a quad cab silverado short box and a 22' deep garage. It does not fit.

you need to subtract out wall thickness on the end wall, the door is inset from the outside usually 8", and the door has steel reinforcements that stick out a couple inches.

My truck does not fit, door scrapes the bumper. the factory dimensions don't always take into account the trim and stuff...

My roll up doors are inset 10" from the outside wall, you may want to get in there with a tape measure and measure the actual distance front to back.

Do a test drive and drive to your house and see if it fits. That's what I did to find out that my front work bench prevented the extended cab pickups from fitting in my garage, so ended up with std cab and 8 foot bed instead.
