Are these any good trying to do a swap with a guy. Just wondering if he is trying to offload junk on me. I know what I have he also has a few vintage bit braces and a old school wooden level. Thank you for any help.

Shelton planes aren't worth much. Neither are common braces or common wood levels.
It's the scarce, top of the line, or very unusual stuff that collectors want.

Shelton planes--Not very collectible. Look for Stanley planes in good condition with rosewood totes.

Braces--Bought and sold by the pound. Collectible ones are the 3" models with a 6" throw. Like new Bell System or like new vintage Stanley braces bring more $$$.
