I have 2 sets of Craftsman crowsfoot wrench sets and they both skip 15/16". I thought I might have lost one but the part numbers between 7/8" and 1" are consecutive so I guess they never made one . That seems odd because for me 15/16" is a lot more common size

That seems to be my best answer a lot lately. I just end up buying a couple other things every order to get the free shipping!! I just took torch and bent an old wrench this time. I needed to come in at about 45° angle to bolt and crowsfoot with breaker bar would have been perfect combo

Years ago, at a local garage sale, I bought a Kennedy 7-drawer machinist's chest which most likely had come from Fairchild AFB. As is often the case with military tool sets, in it was a set of mixed-parentage crow's foot from 3/8" to 2-1/2". FWIW, the 15/16" is a Snap-on.

43588 is the 3/8 drive version. It wasn't in sets. why, no idea, that's a standard size for 5/8 bolts.

Mine is 3/8 drive set and that number is way different. My 7/8" is 43628 and 1" is 43629. I use 15/16" way more than 7/8" or 1" so that is why I found it odd that set didn't have it

Carlyle and SK also skip the 15/16". In both Crowsfoot and Flare nut Crowsfoot. I just went through this last week, I ended up getting a Snap On crowsfoots from ebay.

It really bugs me that my set doesnt match now, but thats the way it is.

As already posted 24mm is just slightly over 15/16". 24mm crowfoot wrenches are very common and found individually quite easily or better yet purchase a metric set with a 24mm and have a wider selection for future uses.

I have an old e-bay special black hawk set that was also missing the 15/16, now there's a Tekton 15/16 on the rail. I use it on electric motor foot bolts when doing pump and motor alignments.

I have one. I remember buying the set and then buying it from open stock at the same time. Part number is strange. They decend down from inch to 7/16 in order. The 7/16 is 45621. Then the 3/8 is 43611. Weird. Also the rest of the set is -V- while the 15/16 is -VV-. All bought at the same time.

Years ago, I bought the flare nut crowsfoot wrenches off Ebay, from a seller saying their father in law passed and they were helping their mother in law sell the tools. Don't remember the price, but decent. Never bought the open end crowsfoot, which I think I have some of in the shop toolbox.
My old shop, the owner was the one that told me this is where he either took older sets of wrenches that lost some, found one off's at garage sales, etc. and cut them shorter, because in most cases he could hold one side and turn the other with a ratchet or something. (and I found that has mostly worked for me as well)
12 point ones are/have been great for sensors (and I mentioned in another post, finding Snap on 12 point ones for $1 each on Ebay years ago, all marked, and bought them all for the shop, for O2 sensors.

Since we are discussing these and sizes, what do you specifically find the 15/16" useful for? Would a 12 point flare nut work as well, worse, better then the open end? (I've had so many open end wrenches slip, here in the rust belt, I am just leary with crowsfoot ones where I don't feel it through the handle)
Thanks

Skipping the 15/16th in the set was Why I originally started this thread. Still don't understand because I see more need for it than a 1". For what I work on mostly it's a 15/16" or a 1 1/8"

Do you have a 24mm? Only about 7 thou bigger
I was gonna say the same thing, when I was removing the head off of the wife’s Cruze last year (before I found out it wasn’t a head gasket) I needed a 24mm wrench to hold the intake cam in place to lock the timing chain. The head on my DOE 24mm was too big to fit in the opening and that was the only 24mm I had but a 15/16” CMan combo open end fit perfectly.

Just ordered a 15/16 Tekton crow foot for a coworker yesterday 🤣 Seems a commonly skipped size. Used rewards so if doesn't even have to come out of a budget.

Had a kid at work today looking for a 24mm wrench which we don’t carry. Sent him out the door with a 15/16”. And my wife thinks it’s weird that I like reading about tools I was able to tell her today that GJ helped me make a sale.
